Knox Box
The Surry Fire Department participates in the Knox Box program. Knox boxes are opened by a secure master key that is unique to each Fire Department. You can place keys to your business or residence inside the box, allowing the fire department access to the building in case of an emergency without causing damage to the building from forcible entry. Padlocks are also available for gates to allow the fire department access without destroying other padlocks.
