Dog Licensing
Did you know that by licensing your dog, 90% of the fees collected go directly to the State of Maine Animal Welfare Program? Please license your dog annually.
- Dog tags are available each year beginning October 15.
- Altered dogs are $6 per year (bring verification from the vet)
- Intact dogs are $11 per year
- A valid proof of rabies vaccination must be presented at the time of licensing
Per State law, dogs licensed after January 31st are subject to a $25 late fee.
